FrameWorks Studio ("FrameWorks", "we", "us") is a web design, development and videography studio based in Dearborn, Michigan. These Terms of Service apply to your use of frameworksstudio.net and any related pages, including our client portal. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
Using this website
You may browse this site for personal and business research. You agree not to misuse it, including by trying to access areas you are not permitted to, interfering with how it runs, copying it in bulk, or using it for anything unlawful.
Projects and proposals
Every client project is governed by a written proposal or agreement that sets out the scope, timeline, price and payment terms. If anything in that agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement wins. Timelines on this site, such as launching in about two weeks, describe a typical project and are not a guarantee for every scope.
Client responsibilities
To keep a project on schedule, clients agree to provide content, images, logins and feedback when requested. Delays in receiving these may move the launch date. You confirm that anything you send us, such as photos, logos or text, is yours to use or that you have permission to use it.
Payments
Payment terms, deposits and due dates are set in each proposal or invoice. Work may pause on overdue accounts. Ongoing services such as hosting, content, SEO or care plans renew as described in their agreement until cancelled in writing.
Ownership
Once a project is paid in full, you own the final website design and content created specifically for you, unless the agreement says otherwise. We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, code libraries, templates and know-how, and grant you a license to use them as part of your site. Third-party items such as fonts, plugins, stock media and platforms remain subject to their own licenses.
Our portfolio
Unless you ask us not to in writing, we may show completed work, screenshots and your business name in our portfolio, on this site and on social media.
Client portal
If we give you access to our client portal, keep your login private. You are responsible for activity under your account. Portal features may change as we improve them.
No warranty
This site and its content are provided "as is". We work hard to keep information accurate and the site available, but we do not promise it will always be error free or uninterrupted. Results such as traffic, rankings or sales depend on many factors outside our control and are not guaranteed.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, FrameWorks is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of this site. For client work, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the services in question.
Links to other sites
This site links to client websites and other third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Wayne County, Michigan.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
